Regional Museums Training & Development Project (East of Scotland Museums Partnership)

The Regional Museums Training and Development Project is pleased to announce the release of three new rounds of funding for 2008 – Entry to the Workforce and Networking (ETTWAN) Support Fund.

DON'T MISS OUT - THIS FUNDING WILL FUND ATTENDANCE AT FORTHCOMING GEM CONFERENCE AND ALSO THE MA CONFERENCE (FEES, TRAVEL, SUBSISTENCE AND BACK FILL FOR STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS IN NEW ENTRANT TO FIRST LINE MANAGER CATEGORY) IN OCTOBER. BOOK BY 1 SEPTEMBER WITH MA FOR EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS. PAYMENT WILL BE MADE TO ORGANISATIONS IN ADVANCE FOR MA CONFERENCE APPLICATIONS. PLEASE SUBMIT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !!
This funding follows on from the previous Training Support Fund and has been set up to specifically assist with the following:

Applications for funding to attend the ESMP 26 June networking event must be received by 30 June noon latest, but should be submitted as soon as possible.
Please find attached copy of guidelines and application form for this new Support fund. Please note that these forms replace the existing TSF forms and guidelines, and should be used throughout the 2008 funding rounds.
Please also note that it is a requirement of applications in relation to New Entrant Development that copies of the individual’s CPD plan (covering 12 months) and the organisational training plan are attached. Project staff are happy to advise and assist with this requirement where necessary, for example, where an organisation does not already have a training plan in place.
Applications will be treated on a first come, first served basis (providing they meet the necessary requirements outlined in the guidelines). Applications will be accepted by email. However, a hard copy of documents appropriately signed will need to be provided before any grant is released.
